Best Village Shop Award for Kirkmichael

The community-owned village shop at Kirkmichael in Perthshire has been presented with the Scottish Countryside Alliance award for the Best Village Shop/Post Office 2011. The shop has also been awarded £139,000 in grant funding from the Scottish Government's Enterprise Growth Fund, so it’s been a double celebration.
